Through
Chautauqua Music, Marty also designs and
installs sound systems for churches, schools,
nightclubs, auditoriums, private clubs, etc.
Approximately 50 sound systems have been
designed and installed in area churches within a
50-mile radius. Whether a full concert sound
system is needed, or a system upgraded, or a
hearing-impaired system, or just upgrading
microphones or wireless microphones, Chautauqua
Music offers these services.
John Davis,
owner of Chautauqua Music since 1974, does all
of the band instrument repair work. In addition
to maintained a “stable” of approximately 400
rental instruments, John does customer repairs,
including complete repads on flutes, oboes,
clarinets, and saxophones. John has been a
member of NAPBIRT (the National Association of
Band Instrument Repair Technicians) for ten
years and attends numerous conferences to
continue honing his art. The band instrument
repair shop features an ultrasonic cleaning tank
for cleaning out the insides of brass
instruments (believe me, you don’t want to see
what comes out of the inside of some students’
instruments!!) Repairs are done right on the
premises with a very short turnaround period and
at very competitive prices. |
