Marty Johnson - Store Manager/Repair Technician Marty Johnson, who is the store manager, guitar and amplifier repair technician, and sound system designer and installer, has worked at Chautauqua Music for over 20 years. He brings years of varied musical experiences into his work at Chautauqua Music. As a guitar player, Marty has played professionally since 1967 with countless bands playing rock, classic rock, southern rock, country rock, and country western. Marty has played for the past 18 years in a local classic rock band, “IDA?KNO.” As a sound technician, Marty for many years was owner of Sunholtz Sound, a regional live sound reinforcement company that did sound and lighting for indoor and outdoor concerts and events in western New York and Pennsylvania.
